TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Listennr is an internet-based mobile application owned and operated by Scalenut Technologies Pvt. Ltd. References to “Us”, “We”, or “Listennr” in this document refer to Scalenut Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and the Listennr platform. The person accessing the application is referred to as “You”, “Your”, or “User(s)”. Listennr and the User may collectively be referred to as the “Parties” and individually as a “Party”.
Listennr provides access to its platform and features (the “Platform Services”) on a prepaid wallet basis. There are no recurring subscriptions. Users fund their in-app wallet to access services as and when needed. All transactions and use of Platform Services are subject to these User Terms and Conditions.
These terms apply to you from the moment you download the Listennr application, whether accessed through an app store or any other medium. These User Terms and Conditions are to be read together with our Privacy Policy above, and each document is incorporated into the other by reference. These terms are legally binding. The platform is governed by the laws of India, and all disputes shall be referred exclusively to the courts at Gurugram, Haryana, India.
By proceeding to use the Listennr application and its Platform Services, you and any party acting on your behalf are deemed to have accepted and agreed to each of these terms, which shall bind you and Listennr with the force of law. This document must be read and applied in its entirety.
Listennr is positioned and marketed as a fully private space for its users. This means that a User’s identity and personal identifiers are not disclosed to Listeners as part of the platform’s standard operation. Users remain anonymous to Listeners unless they voluntarily choose to share identifying information during an interaction.
Any such disclosure is made entirely at the User’s own discretion and risk. The User accepts sole responsibility for the nature, scope, and consequences of any identifying information they share with a Listener or any other user on the platform.
All intellectual property rights in the Listennr application, including all content on the platform, are owned by or licensed to Scalenut Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Users may not remove, alter, or conceal any copyright notice, trademark, or service mark associated with the application.
The Listennr name and logo are proprietary trademarks of Scalenut Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and may not be reproduced, imitated, or used in whole or in part without prior written permission.
We declare, and you acknowledge, the following:
Individuals available on the Listennr platform to engage in discussions with Users are referred to as “Listeners”. To the extent practicable, Listennr conducts due diligence on Listeners prior to their engagement on the platform. However, we do not independently verify every representation made by a Listener regarding their background, experience, or circumstances, and we cannot be held responsible if any such representation proves to be inaccurate.
Listeners are not employees of Listennr and are not engaged by us in any employment capacity. They are independent individuals associated with the platform for the limited purpose of participating in peer discussions with Users — a process referred to as an “Experience Sharing Interaction”. Each Listener is individually and solely liable for their own conduct, disclosures, statements, recommendations, and behaviour on the platform.
You acknowledge and accept that Listennr is not a certified medical or psychological service provider and is not qualified to prescribe or advise on medical treatment or medication. The platform exists solely to enable you to discuss personal concerns and experiences with Listeners, who may share relevant lived experiences in a non-professional capacity. Listennr actively encourages Users to seek qualified professional assistance — including through hospitals, police, or fire services — should they face any medical, psychological, or physical emergency.
The platform is designed to facilitate anonymous interaction. We recommend that Users keep discussions non-specific to preserve their anonymity. Should any dispute, incident, or undesirable outcome arise from an Experience Sharing Interaction, please report it to us promptly. Listennr shall not be liable, including vicariously, for any such matter. You and anyone acting on your behalf undertake to keep Listennr fully indemnified in respect of any incident, dispute, or claim arising from an Experience Sharing Interaction. We strongly encourage Users not to pursue any personal association with a Listener outside the platform.
Listennr shall not be held liable for any act or conduct of a User or Listener that arises from or in connection with an Experience Sharing Interaction. Equally, a Listener shall not be held liable for any wrongful act of a User, and nothing in an Experience Sharing Interaction shall be construed as encouragement or instigation to engage in any unlawful activity.
You are solely responsible for your own actions, decisions, and conduct while using the Listennr platform or in any matter connected to it.
Listennr reserves the right to suspend, remove, or permanently ban any Listener from the platform at its sole discretion, including where a complaint of misconduct is received. Reports of Listener misconduct may be submitted to wecare@listenrr.com. While Listennr will review all complaints in good faith, it does not guarantee any specific outcome and its decision on any such matter shall be final.
Listennr accepts no responsibility for any User conduct that is unlawful, self-destructive, anti-social, or contrary to public policy. Listennr is solely a platform enabling peer interaction and Experience Sharing Interaction and has no control over the conduct of Users or Listeners. Each individual is responsible for their own actions. Listennr expressly dissociates itself from liability in relation to any incident, including but not limited to depression or death by suicide.
Listennr confirms that Experience Sharing Interactions do not constitute a professional engagement, and that Listeners do not provide professional advice of any kind.
Listennr provides no indemnity for any loss or damage of any nature suffered by any person, including third parties, arising from use of the platform. Subject to applicable law, Listennr’s total liability to you shall in no circumstances exceed the amount actually received and retained by Listennr from you for Platform Services.
Listennr holds the fully informed consent of both the User and the Listener with respect to their mutual interaction on the platform.
If the User is not an individual but a registered company, institution, or organisation, use of the Listennr platform requires a prior written agreement or memorandum of understanding with Listennr.
The Listennr application is available exclusively to individuals aged 18 years and above. We reserve the right to deny or terminate access for any User found to be under the age of 18 who is using the application without the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Listennr reserves the right to alter, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of its Platform Services at any time, with or without prior notice. We shall not be liable to any User or third party for any such change, suspension, or discontinuation. These User Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time; Users are encouraged to review them periodically. Your continued use of the platform following any update shall be deemed acceptance of the revised terms. Where you do not accept updated terms, Listennr may discontinue your access to the platform.
Content available within the Platform Services may at times become inaccessible due to licensor restrictions or applicable legal or policy requirements. Listennr shall bear no liability to Users for any such unavailability.
By using the Listennr platform, you consent to receiving communications from us through any channel, including but not limited to SMS, messaging applications, and email. These communications may include service updates, marketing newsletters, promotional offers, announcements, and user surveys, and will be directed to your registered contact details or any other contact method you have provided.
Subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy, Listennr may review, monitor, record (where permitted), transcribe, and analyse interactions occurring within the application — including text chats, voice calls, and video interactions — for the following purposes: (i) safety and policy enforcement; (ii) quality assurance and training; (iii) fraud prevention; (iv) customer support and dispute resolution; (v) handling of complaints and investigations; and (vi) the development, training, and maintenance of internal moderation and AI systems.
The Listennr platform may only be used for lawful purposes. Users shall not transmit or post any content through the application that infringes the rights of others, or that is threatening, abusive, defamatory, libellous, invasive of privacy, vulgar, obscene, profane, objectionable, harmful, or otherwise in violation of applicable law.
Users agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities: (i) copying, distributing, or publicly disclosing any part of the application or its content; (ii) transmitting spam, chain messages, or unsolicited communications; (iii) attempting to interfere with or compromise the security or integrity of the platform or any related servers; (iv) taking actions that impose an unreasonable or disproportionate technical burden on the platform’s infrastructure; (v) uploading malicious software, viruses, worms, or other harmful code; (vi) harvesting or collecting personally identifiable information of other users; (vii) using the platform for commercial purposes without prior written consent; (viii) impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation; (ix) interfering with the proper functioning of the application; (x) accessing platform content through any means other than those provided by Listennr; or (xi) circumventing any access restrictions or content protection measures on the platform.
Listennr’s safety measures, moderation tools, and record-keeping systems apply exclusively to interactions that occur within the application. Any communication or engagement that takes place outside the Listennr platform is beyond our ability to monitor, verify, or regulate. As a condition of using the platform, you agree to the following:
All communications and interactions between Users and Listeners must take place exclusively within the Listennr application.
You shall not request, solicit, share, or otherwise communicate any personal contact details or identifying information that could enable any person to contact, locate, identify, or meet another individual outside the application. This includes but is not limited to phone numbers, email addresses, residential or work addresses, social media usernames or handles, links, QR codes, payment details, bank account details, UPI IDs, or any other similar information. You shall not meet or attempt to meet any Listener in person, whether directly or indirectly, and shall not enter into any off-platform relationship, arrangement, transaction, or engagement of any kind with a Listener.
Any interaction, communication, or transaction that occurs outside the Listennr application is not part of our services. Listennr cannot monitor, verify, or enforce safety standards in relation to off-platform activity. If you choose to engage outside the platform, you do so entirely at your own risk.
Violation of this clause may result in the immediate suspension or termination of your account without notice, at Listennr’s sole discretion.'
You understand and agree that Listennr is an intermediary platform enabling Experience Sharing Interaction and does not direct, supervise, or control the conduct of Users or Listeners.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you accept and assume all risks arising from: (a) your use of the Listennr platform; (b) your interactions with any Listener or other User; and (c) any off-platform contact, communication, or transaction whether or not initiated through the platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you hereby release and discharge Listennr, Scalenut Technologies Pvt. Ltd., and their respective directors, officers, employees, partners, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, causes of action, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses of any nature, whether direct or indirect, arising from or related to: (i) any act or omission of any User or Listener; (ii) reliance on any statement or discussion on the platform; and (iii) any off-platform interaction; including but not limited to claims involving emotional distress, depression, self-harm, suicide, injury, disappearance, or death.
Listennr does not provide emergency, medical, psychiatric, or crisis intervention services of any kind. If you believe that you or any other person is at risk of self-harm, suicide, violence, or any other emergency, you must contact the relevant local emergency services, hospitals, or authorities immediately. You must not rely on Listennr in any emergency situation.
You expressly agree not to use the Listennr platform for any purpose that is prohibited under these terms or applicable law. In particular, you agree not to:
(1) use the platform for any purpose that is unlawful or that facilitates the violation of any law or regulation;
(2) use or attempt to use any scraper, bot, spider, data-mining tool, automated algorithm, deep-link, or similar methodology to access, copy, or monitor any part of the platform or its content without our prior written consent;
(3) obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information from the platform that has not been made intentionally available to you;
(4) bypass or circumvent any security or access restriction measures employed on the platform;
(5) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its servers, associated systems, or user data through hacking, credential exploitation, or any other means;
(6) interfere with or attempt to disrupt the normal functioning of the platform or any activity conducted through it; or
(7) record any conversation or interaction on the platform in any format. Unauthorised recording constitutes both a breach of these terms and an infringement of Platform Services.
Listennr shall bear no liability for any failure or interruption of services resulting from force majeure events, acts of God, or directions issued by any government or local authority. Services may be suspended in such circumstances without liability until further direction.
All wallet recharges on the Listennr platform are final and non-refundable. Listennr does not issue refunds under any circumstances, including in the event of a price reduction or promotional offer. Once funds are credited to your in-app wallet, they cannot be withdrawn or returned to your bank account or payment method for any reason. Users accessing the platform from outside India acknowledge that applicable taxes, bank charges, and currency fluctuation costs may apply to their transactions.
Certain content available on the Listennr platform may be found offensive by some Users. Such content may not always be labelled as such, and descriptions of services or content are not guaranteed to be accurate. Users access and use the platform at their own risk. Listennr accepts no liability for content that a User finds offensive.
You are solely responsible for your use of the platform, any breach of these terms, and the consequences of any such breach, including any loss or damage suffered by Listennr. You agree to indemnify Listennr for any such loss or damage.
You are responsible for ensuring that adequate funds are available in your in-app wallet and that a valid payment method is maintained on your account for the purpose of recharging your wallet.
LEGAL ACTIONS
This document shall at all times be read together with the Privacy Policy above. In the event of any ambiguity, inconsistency, or conflict between them, both documents shall be interpreted harmoniously to give effect to the intent of both.
Any User found to be disparaging, defaming, or tarnishing the reputation of Listennr through false reviews, malicious statements, or other harmful conduct directed at the platform or its associates may be subject to immediate legal action. By using the platform, you agree to refrain from engaging in any such conduct.
Violations of these terms may result in legal consequences as provided under applicable law.
Listennr reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate any User’s access to the platform at any time, with or without prior notice. Provisions of these User Terms and Conditions that are intended to survive termination shall continue to apply. Upon account deletion or termination, any unused wallet balance will be permanently forfeited and no refund will be issued.

By using the Listennr platform, you acknowledge that your acceptance of these terms — whether online or otherwise — constitutes a binding and enforceable agreement between you and Listennr.
